Non-destructive vehicle diagnostics are so important when it comes to a fast and low cost diagnostics. Knowing how to set-up and use an automotive oscilloscope is a game changer when it comes to diagnostics. In this experiment I wanted to know if we could externally view how all injectors were functioning. I knew we could check them electrically, but what about mechanically? I used both the Pico-Scope accelerometer from their NVH kit and Rotkees direct injection tester. Results in the linked document. What could be done different?
