Welcome ! We are all very excited to now help these young professionals take off for building great illustrious careers. Career is a long haul, it’s not about one job, salary, increment, assignment, title or boss. It’s much longer and bigger than all these. I would encourage all these youngsters to look at it holistically. While every one of us have our own definition of success and successful careers. I would recommend to keep certain building blocks at the Center of your aspirations for a long n successful career ahead. ~ Your own health and well-being ~ Investment in relationships both professional and personal ~ Beginner’s mindset - curiosity to know more learn more ~ Humility and more importantly ‘intellectual humility’ ie to be always open to listen and appreciate a different idea than our own ~ Appreciate diversity and Experience with a variety of people, interests, networks, ideas etc. ~ Learn, unlearn, relearn … We enrich our lives lives immeasurably when we approach it with a sense of wonder and discovery, and always challenge ourself to try new things. ** DICE Celebration Conference 23-24 ** DICE - Digital Innovation for Collaboration in Engineering … programme number 6! Today in Birmingham WSP hosted the close out of the DICE programme for this year, with teams working on challenge statements provided by industry experts. We saw presentations from many of the teams, heard from industry experts, and announced the winners of this year’s competition. A couple of big take aways from me … Firstly, I was blown away by the quality and quantity of graduates, degree apprentices and undergraduates taking part - safe to say that the next generation of rail professionals is exciting! Those in my network - don’t be surprised if I reach out to you in the coming days and put you in touch with some of our participants. Their green-eyes / blue-skies ideas are exciting and their enthusiasm is contagious! Secondly, a massive thank you to the DICE delivery team - it’s incredible what you’ve delivered alongside your day jobs! It shouldn’t be underestimated the value you’re bringing to the rail industry. Finally, in a post-COVID, video conference heavy workplace, it is incredibly valuable to give young professionals the chance to speak to groups - in our case in a sandbox environment. Few and far between are chances to hone public speaking skills - regardless of what’s being pitched, it’s really key to encourage this. All in all, a great day to re-set enthusiasm in the future skills and potential of the rail industry … the sky is the limit!

🏆 What an incredible journey it's been! 🏆 I'm over the moon to share the news that, along with my fantastic team, I took part in the "Prastut 2.0 Igniting Young Minds" competition hosted by SJCEM. And guess what? We clinched the 4th position! 🤝 Teamwork Makes the Dream Work: This achievement is a testament to the amazing synergy within our team. My fellow team members - Krishna Yadav Gaurav Prajapati Geeta Medtiya were a constant source of inspiration and support. Together, we took on the challenge of a highly competitive inter-collegiate technical paper and poster presentation contest, showcasing our passion for all things tech and innovation. 🌐 A Project for MU Engineering Students: In addition to our competition participation, we also dedicated our time and skills to creating a web-based project aimed at assisting fellow MU engineering students. Our platform provides notes and support to make their academic journey a little smoother. 🔍 An Inside Look at the Competition: The competition served as a meeting point for some of the brightest minds from colleges all around. It was a fantastic opportunity to not only learn from each other but to also test our knowledge and skills against some tough competition. 🎯 A Pledge to Innovation: Our participation in this event is a reaffirmation of our commitment to pushing the boundaries of knowledge, solving real-world issues, and staying at the cutting edge of technology. 🙏 Gratitude and Appreciation: A big shout-out to the organizers at SJCEM for putting together this wonderful event and providing a stage for students like us to demonstrate our abilities. 🌟 What Lies Ahead: This journey has only deepened our love for technology, and we're excited about embracing fresh challenges and contributing to innovation in the days ahead.
