Hello, everyone! I'd like to tell you about my experience studying Data Science Week 2 with Digital Skola This week, I began learning about basic SQL skills (SQL concepts and basic SQL commands), intermediate SQL skills (distinct commands, where, string functions, join tables, etc). SQL (Structured Query Language) is a programming language that uses the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) standards to access, modify, and manipulate relational-based data. SQL is an essential tool for a Data Scientist to access, process, and analyze data efficiently, especially on a large scale, and helps in extracting the insights needed to support data-driven decision making. Apart from that, in this second week I learned about version control systems, GIT, GIT Command, and GITHUB. In the practice of Data Science, Git and GitHub are key tools for effectively managing projects, collaborating with teams, maintaining reproducibility, and storing and sharing resources related to Data Science projects. I really enjoyed this week's lesson because I believe that learning SQL from scratch with hands-on practice is a great way to build a strong foundation in using SQL to its full potential as a data scientist. I will share what I've learned. So, if you want to read my materiaI, please look at the PDF I uploaded. #DataScientistBootcamp #DataScience #DigitalSkola

Halo Everyone!! Especially prospective data scientists... Back again with me Masyitah Aulia, let's call it Syita more familiarly. Last week, Friday 15 September 2023 I explained a little about Introduction & Methodology, Introduction to Data & Database, and SQL. The knowledge I got from Bootcamp training at Digital Skola. Friday, 22 September 2023 will be my second week of attending bootcamp training at Digital Skola. In this second week, I gained knowledge about SQL, GIT & Version Control System. Here I was taught how to create queries for SQL, how to operate DBeaver software, and what important points are contained in SQL, GIT & Version Control System, and what the relationship between Git and GitHub is. The most interesting thing in this second week is that we are not only focused on theory but are immediately given examples in concrete form (practice). The tutor explains the theory and then intersperses it with an example of its application. And there is a two-way discussion process between tutors and Bootcamp participants. For more details, you can all see and read the related material that I have prepared in the form of a presentation. I hope my explanation and language are easy to understand. And it can be useful for loyal LinkedIn friends. Enjoy it. keep watching every week. I will be back again with new and certainly interesting material. The enthusiasm of prospective data scientists. ^.^ #DigitalSkola #DataScience #Bootcamp #LearningProgressReview

Hello LinkedIn! I’m back for Week 2 of my Data Science learning journey with Digital Skola. Continuing from the last session of the previous week, with two special sessions, we dive deeper into the realm of SQL. Starting with the concept of SQL itself, commands, and functions, then spending the rest of the sessions with hands-on practice of SQL. As a future data scientist, SQL is an important skill to be learned, as the programming language could help data scientists interact with data inside the database. Working with data collaboratively, changes and modifications in the process are unavoidable. So in the next session, we were introduced to Version Control System (VCS), software that could help data scientists by tracking changes or modifications in files used. One of them is GIT, supported by a dedicated online service called GitHub. Throughout this session, we explore the world of repositories, how to create one, how to track modifications made in files, and more practical sessions with GIT and GitHub. Week 2 of the Data Science journey, with continuous new information and skills to learn, has been quite overwhelming. But our knowledgeable and readily available mentor has been extremely helpful. And of course, lots of revision and plenty of practice. For anyone interested in learning more about the topics discussed, my Zero to Hero team and I have summarized key points of the Week 2 topics. Please check the document attached. #DataScience #BootcampDataScience #LearningProgressReview #DigitalSkola

Data Science Learning Progress with Digital Skola: Week 2 The advancement of the digital era is also what causes a business to migrate online. Businesspeople must adapt to the changing times. This becomes more fascinating because business owners must make quick judgments to suit their client's needs. These judgments are based on insights gained from abstract data, which are subsequently transformed into information by Data Scientists to help the firm achieve its objectives. Data Science combines three distinct disciplines: mathematics/statistics, computer science, and domain knowledge/expertise. This week, One of the activities I'm now participating in is the Digital Skola boot camp. In the second week, I am learning about SQL, Version Control Systems, Git, and Github. Learning SQL (Structured Query Language) and version control systems are essential for a data scientist. A data scientist manipulates and stores data using SQL, whereas version control systems facilitate collaboration, repeatability, and auditability. I've utilized GitHub as a version control system, which has made it easier and more efficient for me to interact with my colleagues. I wish to grasp this highly interesting and demanding subject so that I can apply it in my job. Please find my learning progress review attached below. You can all learn it together. Let us explore, develop, and make a difference together! #DigitalSkola #LearningProgressReview #DataScience

"Greetings LinkedIn friends I admire! 👋🤗 I am very enthusiastic to share the knowledge that I just learned in my educational journey at Digital Skola. This week, at the fourth session to be precise, I have explored the world of NumPy and Pandas, invaluable foundations in the field of Data Science. We started by understanding the essence of NumPy, from installation to array manipulation, which gave me deep insight into processing numeric data. Then, I dived into Pandas, digging into Series, DataFrames, and important skills like reading, sorting, and filtering data. 🌍📊🐼 Not only that, we also deepened my skills in creating additional columns, grouping data, and assembling pieces of data from various DataFrames into a larger unit. I am very excited to continue learning and honing these skills, so that I can move closer to my branding goals as a professional Data Science practitioner. Keep following my educational journey at Digital Skola, because the exciting adventure continues!" 🌟🚀📚 #DigitalSkola #PythonProgramming #LearningTogether #Collaboration #LinkedInLearning #Datascience #Bootcampdatascience

Hi everyone!! Currently, i'm on my third week of Digital Skola Data Science bootcamp and I want to share about my second week study experience in Digital Skola Data science bootcamp to you through this post. There are several things that I learned in my second week, I learned about SQL, Version Control System, and Git. I started my second week in this bootcamp by learning Structured Query Language (SQL). I learned how to create basic intelligent queries and communicate with databases to manipulate and organize data using SQL. I also learned about Version Control System, Git, and GitHub. Version control system is an important aspect in data science project, and Git is one of the most used version control system. Git provide efficient and effective ways to manage code changes and collaborate with others. In this session, i learned that navigate and utilize these tools has been critical in simplifying workflow and ensuring the efficiency of team projects. I can't wait to see what i can learn next weeks in this bootcamp. For more details regarding my second week bootcamp material, you can take a look at the slides I shared below which made by me and my team mates in the Data Science Batch 31 Digital Skola bootcamp. Hopefully, the slides we make can provide knowledge and insights to you. #DataScience #BootcampDataScience #SkolaClassDataScience #DigitalSkola
