As we approach the end of the month or quarter, many of us will experience late stage deal slippage. Throughout my career I've always reflected on deals that nearly closed in time but didn't. One piece of advice from Stuart Dale has always stayed with me: Time kills deals. There's no need to wait a week for the next meeting. Meetings can often be scheduled within 1-3 days. Reducing the interval from 5 working days between meetings to just 3 working days results in a 40% time saving. That’s significant. its so important to maintain momentum and improve the likelihood of closing deals on time. Here’s how I try to execute this Prompt Scheduling: After each meeting, schedule the next one straight away. Avoid leaving it open-ended. Active Follow-Up: Keep the communication lines open with personalised follow-ups, ensuring the prospect remains engaged. Move to Whatsapp! Provide Continuous Value: Share relevant insights, articles, and case studies that meet their needs, keeping you in their thoughts.
