How many tips can we squeeze in one tip? I did my best :) Because as a group psychotherapist, I know how groups have everything that their members need. We are all auxiliary egos for each other, and the question is: Can we play together? Thanks to Dr. Franz for having me in this episode. I always learn a lot from Tim, and I think the way we collaborate or co-create each time is a great example of how our strengths and weaknesses come together to achieve our superordinate goals as a team 😍
Another week of Making Team Projects Work with Lauren Vicker. This week's team tip is from Ozge Kantas Yorulmazlar, Ph.D., CP, PAT, a colleague within my department at St. John Fisher University. Her tip is about how to utilize all the different perspectives within a team, because a team "has everything in it" to succeed!

Together, we've challenged conventions, brought bold ideas to life, and created unforgettable experiences that set us apart in the industry. If you can think it, do it: Let’s create a world without waste together | Interzero | ALBA Group Asia | ALBA BERLIN
I’ve participated every year in triathlons since 2011, and here’s what I've learned: I started engaging in sports at a very young age, and I can confidently say that the principles I've learned through physical activity have laid the foundation for my development. Why? In any sport, two fundamental traits are essential: discipline and stamina. Interestingly, these are the very same characteristics that are crucial for success in any endeavor. There will always be new challenges and tough decisions that require your attention. However, with the right mindset, overcoming these challenges becomes easier. One key aspect of dealing with challenges is the understanding that you can rarely handle them on your own. This is one of the reasons I have a deep appreciation for team sports, particularly basketball. It teaches you the power of collaboration. How do we unite as a team and then turn the game in our favor? We learn to harness our collective energy to achieve success. When I apply these principles to our businesses, one element must never be forgotten: Basketball is a game, and games should be enjoyable. Engaging in something that brings you joy and aligns with your passion leads to improved performance, driven by greater effort and unwavering dedication. It offers a sense of fulfillment. So, amid all the hard work and discipline, never overlook the importance of having fun as a team. 😉 What kind of sports do you engage in and what have you learned from it?

Celebrating wins—big or small—is vital for team morale. At Assistantly, we have a Friday tradition called "Win of the Week." Here’s what we do: 1. Each team member shares their biggest win. 2. We celebrate together. It’s simple, but it’s made a huge difference. Our team is more cohesive and motivated. Want to boost your team’s morale? Start celebrating all wins. Tag your manager, team lead, or company and show them how it’s done. (example below 😊 )
