There will always be exception. But extreme and vulgar materialism has completely destroyed culture. All people care for is money and 24 hour shopping binge. Welcome to hell! But obviously people have to pay a huge price for this extreme stupidity of blindly following materialism. Mental illness will hit 30% or more population in 20 years. Smart people will spend at least some time in art, music, dancing etc else be prepared to go for dates with psychriatists. #art #arte #culture #cultura #nga #wellness #wellbeing #wellnesstips #wellnesscoach #psychology #psychiatry #health #healthawareness #mentalhealthawareness #mentalhealth #mentalhealthmatters

finishing SHL - Sussex Digital Humanities Lab Week programme with 'Feminism Confronts AI': Professor Judy Wajcman's lecture, contending there is still insufficient focus on the ways in which gendered power relations are embedded in technoscience - including AI. Persuasive so far! Update: Lecture covers history of technofeminism, intersecting with other theories. Then: who is in the room/on the board, gender data gaps, the value of labour (e.g. carework), the absent marginalised users/workers in tech events & design. Ends by situating feminist technoscience as a matter of social justice (equal access to well-paid and interesting work for women & other marginalised groups) epistemic justice (a wider range of perspectives and experiences --> better tech). Q&A starts with a critical reflection on who is in the lecture room...
