We are less than a week away from #LSIUSA24, one of my favorite #medtech events of the year! Dana Point, CA is amazing (although last year's weather was a bummer).
Now that I've attended a couple of the LSI events and have had the opportunity to meet some great folks along the way, I thought I'd share some "insider" tips to help attendees make the most of their time at LSI this year!
1. Pre-arrange Meetings: LSI's meeting system is exceptionally efficient. Setting up your meetings in advance can lead to some of the most productive interactions compared to other conferences.
2. Cultivate Connections: The LSI community, though small (not sure if that's true anymore), is incredibly dynamic, engaged and helpful. Kindness and a collaborative spirit go a long way here. Engage positively with your peers, and pay it forward - you'll find that generosity is often reciprocated.
3. Enjoy Dana Point: Amidst the busy schedule (it really is), don't forget to take a moment for yourself. The beauty of the venue, Dana Point, and its beach is not to be missed. These moments of relaxation can provide a fresh perspective and renewed energy.
4. Post-Dinner Networking: Swing by the bar after dinner. There's a ton of networking and deal-making happening there so make sure to conserve some energy for some late night networking opportunities.
It will be great to see some old faces again and new ones too. Please reach out if you'll be there!! And a shameless plug here: If you want to meet me or any of my talented colleagues at Foley & Lardner LLP, please reach out to Nathan Beaver, Kyle Faget, and Natasha Allen or me to schedule a meeting via the app.
Lastly, thank you Scott Pantel, Henry Peck, and Kelly Williams for always putting on a great show and for keeping us well fed and hydrated!
