Here's another powerful behavioural science win. I've consulted to School Stream for a number of years after the Founder CEO and CTO attended my speaking event Irrational Pricing Wins! Melissa said "you know how to do it better than us, so I want you to do it for us." The CTO and Co-Founder was sceptical coming to the event. The results speak for themselves. It's been a pleasure to work alongside smart people who asked for help, became empowered with their pricing among other things. I was delighted when I saw Melissa the CEO recently and she shared they were running there own pricing nudge without my help. "You gave me the confidence to do it"...and yes. It's worked. These are results that have built upon each other year after year for 3+ years now. This proves longevity impact of behavioural science when understood and implemented correctly. If you are a start up, or scale up and want to stop relying on investor funding here is a proof point of success. One of the many we have. Power lies here. Wrapping up an incredible study trip to Silicon Valley with the HSBA Hamburg School of Business Administration! Our journey through the heart of innovation was nothing short of inspiring. We had the privilege to visit some of the most influential tech giants and prestigious academic institutions (Stanford University), as well as dynamic startups and visionary founders that truly left a lasting impression. Engaging with startup founders like Christian Byza (Learn.xyz), Philipp Wehn (Nexxa.ai), and Rico Meinl (Retro Biosciences) was incredibly enlightening. Their stories of resilience, passion, and the willingness to take risks provided invaluable lessons for any aspiring entrepreneur. Hearing firsthand about the challenges they overcame and their innovative approaches to problem-solving was both motivating and educational. During our visits to Google, Microsoft and Salesforce, we saw the importance of fostering a culture of creativity and continuous learning. The theme of Artificial Intelligence was pervasive, with advancements poised to revolutionize various industries. This underscored the necessity of staying ahead in this transformative field. Our discussions also highlighted how a strong company culture and a relentless focus on customer success can drive incredible growth and innovation. We saw examples of how integrating cutting-edge technology into traditional sectors can lead to significant industry disruption, especially during our talks with Mercedes-Benz USA and GOLDBECK. A huge thank you to all the companies and individuals who took the time to share their knowledge and experiences with us. This trip has fueled my ambition and reinforced my commitment to making a significant impact in the world of business and technology.
