#reflections #mediaspace #changemakers #summit #liftedinlondon As our first annual summit, MediaSpace.global Changemakers' Summit is over and our team could take a breath, it's time to reflect. We'll share professional summaries so this is a more subjective one with a few takeaways: - Meeting with complete strangers from the industry brings excellent and actionable insights (supposing the right people are in the room but in our case it was given due to the invite-only nature of the summit) - Less is more. Quality over quantity was a good desision to focus on. - Out of the 5 topics we discussed (Change in the digital as market; AI; Monetisation; Sustainability and effectiveness; Digital transformation in the media and ad space) only one session's sentiment was gloomy: Monetisation. It tells a lot. - A full-day online conference with 5 sessions is indeed 5 events - most people came for one. So I'd like to say special thanks to those few members who were with us all day: Walid Kanafani, CPM from Kuwait (despite their public holiday), Malar Ramalingam from Kuala Lumpur, Rob Wherrett from Glasgow and Sumitra B. from Watford England. Also big shouts to Cecilia Dones and Milton Pedraza from New York, joining at early dawn... - Despite intense, sometimes even heated conversations, many invitees were less active in other parts of digital networking. It's our future task to present the benefits of building connections in the digital space. So we'll start promoting our online course to help leaders transform themselves in the digital era ( not just their companies). - Last but not least, I'm relieved... Happy to say that we're announcing the 2024 summit soon.
