Last night we were delighted to host our flagship Digital Leadership Report Event in Manchester. Celebrating the report's 25th anniversary, we welcomed digital leaders from across the UK to discuss and explore the report's key findings.   We were delighted to be joined by a brilliant panel of speakers and hear their expert thoughts and opinions on some of the latest global trends and how they apply to organisations based in Manchester.   Our panel for the evening included: · Nick Woods, CIO, MAG (Airports Group) · Laura W., Strategic Change Director, Atlanta Group · Christopher Williamson, Technology Director, N Brown Group · patrick zmith, CEO, zally®   During the evening, we were delighted to announce ComputerWeekly.com's UKtech50, where the 50 most influential people in UK tech were revealed and Sir Alan Bates was announced as this year's UKtech50 winner. Congratulations!   A massive thank you to everyone who attended last night and our team in Manchester for hosting! We had a great evening with an even greater panel of experts and we cannot wait to host similar events in the future.   #HarveyNash #TechnologyRecruitment #DLR #Event #Manchester #UKTech50 David Savage Tech Talks Nash Squared

Great report as per usual and a brilliant presentation by David Savage Re the report finding that cyber attacks seemed stable over last two years (and as patrick zmith alluded to in the panel discussion) there might be an element of underreporting in the last survey According to my knowledge it has been estimated that up to 1/3 of organisations that experience a ransom ware attack actually pay the ransom Many of the remaining 2/3 are likely to NOT go public for reputational reasons - they may inform customers but often not media - unless ‘forced to’… …such as the most recent ‘NHS attack’ where NHS service provider Synnovis was compromised (early June) leading to 3.400 cancelled appointments and 1.250 elective procedures postponed (to date) - this incident still, some 3 weeks after, has a negative impact on health care services in London Again, thank you for a lovely evening Harvey Nash 😊

thankz for having uz! a great evening 😁
