I think the ongoing noise on the performance of the health system is creating apathy. People hear about it, think it’s not impacting them, and avoid it. That’s sad, good it’s not me, and go about their lives. The harsh reality is anything can pop up and smack you in the back of the head at any time. Not having protection in place for these things is just asking to be one of the majority screaming about the system. Do I get paid for implementing medical insurance? yup, and quite well. Should you have to have medical insurance with our public health system? nope, you should not have to, but it has become the reality. Afraid you’re getting sold to? We all understand that, and most of the time you probably are. There are good plans, and there are not so good plans out there. If you are afraid of being sold to, ask questions, lots of questions. Until you know and understand what you’re making a decision on, you should ask questions. And that’s the thing, I like questions. The more you ask, the better I know you understand what you’re making decisions one, and the more comfortable I’ll be that your cover will work for the things you want it to work for. Call me, the Q&A session you need does not come with fees. https://lnkd.in/gHPzNskd Rotorua man with stage-four bowel cancer in remission after taking Keytruda

**$113,000 OF NON-FUNDED DRUG TREATMENT HELPS TO SAVE A LIFE** I really enjoy reading/hearing good news stories about how health insurance has helped individuals; literally saving lives. Here is a great example of why I bang on (yes, I know, this can get tedious) about having a health insurance solution in place to cover the "really big things" that the public health system does not cover through lack of funding. Yes, I 100% agree that medications like Keytruda should be funded, however, what can you/we do ourselves to control the under-funding today. Are you covered for the "big things"? If not or or want to review your current insurance to ensure you do, I would love to help you. #resure #healthinsurance #bowelcancer

The Delhi High Court clarified that the limit of Rs.2 lakhs for immunotherapy in health insurance policies does not apply to Chemo-immunotherapy. Chemo-immunotherapy, a combination treatment for cancer patients, involves both chemotherapy and immunotherapy, distinct from Immunotherapy alone. The court ruled that the ceiling of Rs.2 lakhs specifically relates to Immunotherapy – Monoclonal Antibody injection, without ambiguity. #delhihighcourt #mediclaim #healthinsurance #ceiling #legaldeli

This article on the NZ Herald highlights the importance of having health insurance that covers non-Pharmac funded cancer medication. In this case, its been lifesaving, but at over $113K for many this would simply be unaffordable without health insurance. There are a variety of options available to suit different needs and budgets, including options to enhance existing policies, so get in touch to learn more. #healthinsurance #cancertreatment #makeaplan #getprotected
Having cover for Non-Pharmac funded cancer medication in your health insurance should be standard due to the lifesaving or life extending benefits these non funded medications can provide. Not all health insurance policies include this essential cover, so speak with an adviser who understands the differences in policies and improve your health and treatment outcomes. The good news is that if you are on a health insurance policy that doesn't include cover as standard, in many cases the insurance companies are now offering Non-Pharmac cover as an add-on policy option. #healthinsurance #getcovered #getprotected #makeaplan #medicaltreatment #cancertreatment https://lnkd.in/g_BPaFjT
