Transforming Health and Fitness Journeys with HealthifyMe 😀 In today's fast-paced world, maintaining a healthy lifestyle is a challenge many of us face. I recently delved into HealthifyMe's 'New User Onboarding' 🚀 process and was amazed by the thoughtful design and user-centric approach. This is my first Product TearDown for NextLeap's learn in public challenge, and I have chosen to study HealthifyMe's 'New User Onboarding' feature. I really enjoyed going through the bits and pieces of each button and feature employed in this process. It was certainly interesting, and I'm sure there's a lot of room for improvement, so please do provide feedback! The extremely talented team at YouFit was a true delight to partner with as MediaConfidant helped to upgrade their analytics & data infrastructure to adapt to the new systems and tools that are in the market. We didn't want to force them to learn new tools, instead, The mission was to provide a clean reporting setup that gave real insights and let their team move out of the weeds to focus on strategy. At a high level we streamlined their setup, created custom reports, tagging, tracking, and measurement plans to help tie systems together. #HealthtechSpotlight 🔥 Recently, I had a nice talk with Peter Pearson, founder of Ambitious Rewards. Ambitious Rewards is a unique product aimed at incentivising children and teens to participate in activities by getting top-notch rewards. The prizes are provided by activity providers, while brands and retailers take charge of distributing anonymised rewards. This project is close to Orbit’s heart, given the work we’re doing with young athletes through https://lnkd.in/eWkZHJmX. 🔍 One of the challenges Peter and the team face is categorising the app since it encompasses aspects of Health Tech, Ed Tech, and SaaS without fitting neatly into a single category. 🔍 Another hurdle lies in engaging brands and retailers. It's a bit of a chicken-and-egg situation where brands want to see users and vice versa—a challenge we tend to see when it comes to two-sided marketplaces. They are doing some great work to test and refine their product with their target audience. Ambitious Rewards has created a Beta test group and will onboard dance schools and football academies in the coming week. They will gather qualitative and quantitative feedback from users to iterate and improve the app. 🔍 Balancing the needs of users, community providers, and brands poses one more challenge that Peter and the team are addressing, as determining when to stop adding features and transitioning from MVP to a full-blown product requires careful consideration. As for now, Peter seeks to establish a community within the health and wellness tech space, inspired by the vibrant community-building practices seen in the US and other countries.
