I help businesses & podcasters drive revenue growth with their podcast ı Podcast Host ı Podcast Gurus ı Corporate Treasury 101

If this is the reason you’re doing a podcast, then probably you shouldn’t… I interviewed David Savage, the Founder, Editor, and Host of Techtalks and here are 4 things I’ve learned from interviewing him: 1. Chase Relationships, Not Downloads: David debunks the myth that download numbers are the ultimate success metric for podcasts. "The real win is in the relationships and strategic conversations that your content fosters." 2. Podcasting Needs Passion, Not Obligation: Aspiring podcasters, take note: "Start a podcast only if you’re passionate about it, not because it’s the trendy thing to do." 3. KPIs can be misleading: "People get hung up on KPIs that are irrelevant. It's great for the podcast to chart on Apple, but it doesn't make or break its success. The real success is when your guest feels the interview was worth sharing." 4. Forget Perfection, Just Start Sharing: Feeling hesitant to share your content because it's not "perfect"? David’s success stems from his willingness to share content, even if it wasn’t perfect, knowing that growth would come through engagement and support from guests. …and many more!
