Chief Executive Officer at Climate Leadership Council

Scientists just recorded the first-ever decline in HCFC levels. The Montreal Protocol is largely to thank. I published my thoughts in RealClear Energy on how U.S. policymakers can replicate elements of this treaty to address other greenhouse gasses, driving greater international cooperation while supporting American manufacturers. As I wrote in the op-ed, this is complex terrain. Still, the Protocol gives us a relatively straightforward and adaptable formula: international partnerships, trade incentives, and clear domestic economic wins lead to meaningful climate progress.  https://lnkd.in/et4F8Jjq
