"Science is a penance. You might be working on something for days, and it may lead to nothing, but once it leads to something, you will realize that's all you ever wanted!!!" I realised how true these words were when I joined a Catalysis Lab as an intern. A researcher's job requires great presence and patience, and chemistry takes all of it. Took me 4 days to complete seperate the compound. I, of course, couldn't have done it without my seniors. But every moment, be it from Decantation, to Rotary Evaporation and long hours of Column Chromatography, followed by Thin Layer Chromatography...was damn worth it!!! Here is the compound. Any guesses on what is it?
