Today the HANNOVER MESSE kicks off, the world's largest technology trade fair! After a busy few days at the EDANA, the voice of nonwovens Innovation Forum last week in Munich where he presented @Autins developments in Material Uniformity for Non-Wovens, we caught up with our group R&D Manager Alaa Memari, PhD on his experience of the conference and Munich. Here’s what he had to say: Did you enjoy the EDANA conference? Yes! Very much. Did you enjoy speaking at the conference? It was a great experience to speak in front of an audience of experts, innovators and talents in the non-wovens industry. I had a tremendous level of response and interest in my presentation, which I will be following up with all parties individually. Did you make some good connections? I had the chance to discuss and connect with many of the participants at all levels. We are connected via social media and will remain in touch for any mutual interests that arise. Did you learn anything that you can implement at Autins? There was quite a number of innovations that have potential benefits for Autins and the automotive industry. I am looking forward to discussing these potentials with the respective individuals and organisations. Did you get chance to see a bit of Munich?
