After 40 years of business experience, including starting two companies, I am now a Professor of International Business and Leadership.
The revelation about the planned site has sparked alarm within the Biden administration because of Cuba’s proximity to the U.S. mainland. A Chinese base with advanced military and intelligence capabilities in the U.S.’s backyard could be an unprecedented new threat. Cuba is about 100 miles off the coast of Florida. Meanwhile, in Taiwan, about 100 miles off the coast5 of mainland China, there are three primary signal intelligence (SigInt) facilities in Taiwan. A joint venture with the U.S. National Security Agency (NSA) and the U.S. military. Additionally, the U.S. has approved the potential sale of $619 million in new weapons to Taiwan, including missiles for its F-16 fleet, which the U.S. provided previously. One wonders who is the aggressor here? Is the U.S. itching for conflict?

⚡️ Summary: China's relentless pursuit of war becomes apparent as they execute Operation Joint Fire-Strike, sever undersea fiber-optic cables between Taiwan and Matsu Island, and plan to cut off vital services in Taiwan. Li Yi's speech emphasizes the military's intention to overpower Taiwan and maintain control over liberated areas. The challenging geographical features of the Taiwan Strait pose additional obstacles. China takes proactive measures, including enacting necessary laws and safeguarding against anticipated U.S. sanctions, indicating their determination to annex Taiwan in the near future.

China and Cuba have reached a secret agreement for China to establish an electronic eavesdropping facility on the island, in a brash new geopolitical challenge by Beijing to the U.S., according to U.S. officials familiar with highly classified intelligence. An eavesdropping facility in Cuba, roughly 100 miles from Florida, would allow Chinese intelligence services to scoop up electronic communications throughout the southeastern U.S., where many military bases are located, and monitor U.S. ship traffic. Officials familiar with the matter said that China has agreed to pay cash-strapped Cuba several billion dollars to allow it to build the eavesdropping station, and that the two countries had reached an agreement in principle. https://lnkd.in/gm-yWRXN

In a new paper for the Australian Feminist Foreign Policy Coalition, Christine Agius, Annika Bergman Rosamond, Professor Toni Haastrup and Dr Katharine A. M. Wright explore the contradictions and tensions that emerge in the framing of national security threats and whether there are opportunities for more inclusive peace and security as promoted by the principles of feminist-informed foreign policy - using Australia's engagement with AUKUS and NATO as starting points. STAGING THE WAR 1) Claim back the empire before invasion. Hitler gave many interviews to the "journalists" of the time on his vision of Greater Germany empire (going back to Charlemagne) It started in 1923 https://lnkd.in/eW6TPSwa culminating before the war when his troops started to move towards the border of Austria. 2) Intensify the propaganda machine. The modern machine is going full speed. I am myself surprised by the number of "intellectuals" who have come forward on the net to ask us to "listen" to a "good" interviews where two rational men quietly discuss the issue. 3) Start with a clear warning "Russia puts Estonia prime minister on wanted list for destroying Soviet monuments" This one came one day after Estonia's Foreign Intelligence Service said "Russia is preparing for a military confrontation with the West within the next decade and could be deterred by a counter buildup of armed forces. " The following report makes an interesting reading https://lnkd.in/eBM8yacZ
