THIS 🧸❤️🔥💭 there’s enough room for us *all* to have a seat at the table, and we can rise by lifting each other up. one of reasons i started girl power marketing is so i can help people have the same opportunities & privilege i had. i didn’t finish college or go to university because i was diagnosed with anorexia & after a couple of years of barely existing - my mum helped me get a job at a marketing agency. fast forward a few years, my brother started a marketing agency and i got even MORE experience. fast forward to this year, my brother is one of my clients & the main reason i was able to take a leap in doing GPM full-time. not everyone gets that opportunity or that privilege, and I want GPM & the community to be the foot in the door for people. i will always send opportunities to other people, i will always advocate for my competitors and i will always help others out where i can. so surround yourself with people who not only advocate you but will say your name in a room FULL of opportunities - even opportunities that they could have themselves. and do the same for others 💜 we deserve to take up space. we can help others get a seat at the table. we can create a seat for others at *our* table. CC: @ jennibrhodes on IG, her content is incredible!
Wow, this is so beautifully said! 💕 Your passion for empowering others and creating a supportive community is genuinely inspiring. Your personal story is a powerful reminder that we can all make a difference in each other's lives. Your dedication to helping others succeed, even if it means sharing opportunities that could have been yours, is a rare and precious quality. You're a true leader and a shining example of the impact we can have when we lift each other up. Keep being an amazing force for good and creating space for others to thrive! 🌟💪
Couldn’t agree more! I had an email from a ‘competitor’ in my area, who also happens to be in my wider social circle, threatening legal action because I was allegedly ‘copying’ her social media content, basically using some of the same language, hashtags, emojis, calls to action (which I would given that we’re in the same industry!), despite me having sent potential clients her way on numerous occasions. Ironically she also claims to support women in business… 😏
Together we can, everything we dream off 👏
“there’s enough room for us all to have a seat at the table” SAY IT LOUDERRRR 📢📢📢📢
