Chief People Officer, Executive Board Member SAP SE

🌀 Wow! March has been a whirlwind month, and I can hardly believe how much we have accomplished. It feels great to finally sit down and share an update on the progress we have made in supporting SAP’s business transformation journey. First, I want to take a moment to congratulate the winners and finalists of SAP’s Hasso Plattner Founders' Award, announced at our global employee meeting. This is the highest employee recognition at SAP, and it is truly a testament to the innovative spirit of our people. It was a proud moment to award and celebrate our colleagues alongside my fellow executive board members, Christian Klein, along with Julia White (joining virtually). Next, I had the opportunity to kick off a year of big plans with our global People & Culture team. It was so inspiring to hear from Gordon Herbert, coach of the German national basketball team, who shared his leadership wisdom with us. There *is* an “I” in team, Gordon said. Individual talents with a team mentality create championship cultures! Special shout-out to the speakers, all the colleagues who joined, and to the event coordinators – you all made this event inspiring and meaningful! Another highlight was joining our colleagues in Global Finance & Administration at their annual meeting for a discussion on organizational culture and transformation. This event was an incredible opportunity to explore how our teams can work together for the success of SAP. I was grateful to be there. Thank you to Dominik Asam for the invitation! Finally, I want to mention SMART Education Night in Berlin—the closing event for the Bitkom Education Conference—that SAP had the honor of hosting. We were delighted to welcome guests like Dr. Jens Brandenburg, Parliamentary State Secretary to Germany's Federal Minister of Education and Research, who is a strong advocate for promoting #AI education in classrooms. It was an evening filled with inspiring conversations about schools readying students for the world of generative AI with Snap, a visual programming language for computer science education we are developing in Walldorf with the University of Berkeley. Thanks to the entire Snap team for being there! As I reflect on these highlights from the past month, I am filled with gratitude toward all of SAP, and to the special People & Culture team I have the privilege of working with every day. It is because of your hard work and dedication that we can achieve such remarkable successes!  #SAP #PeopleandCulture #BusinessTransformation

Thank you Gina for summarizing the accomplishments. I think this should become a regular thing as it helps building bridges between the different board areas. 😊👍 Looking forward to more updates like this internally and externally.

It has been a whirlwind Gina Vargiu-Breuer! But loving every minute!
