Manufacturers matter. It was webinar week for the Ellie.Team. On Thursday, we hosted the 6th RegioGreenTex Community Talks and proudly presented the Lowlands Greentex Hub. We showcased the hub's role in enabling circular loops through cooperation between Flanders, East Netherlands and Hauts-de-France. Our Lowlands partner SMEs and regional representatives highlighted the different value chain projects and regional collaboration opportunities, and we were delighted to see many participants from different regions🌍🔄 Today we had the pleasure of discussing Ellie.Connect's role in circular textiles, demonstrated by the Circular Garment Demonstrator within the RGT project. One comment from the audience stood out: the perception that manufacturers have limited influence, with brands making the final decisions. Knowing the decision-making process first-hand, we are convinced that manufacturers may not have the final say, but they do play a crucial role. As a manufacturer, it is precisely with your expertise that you can guide and influence decisions and show customers their options. And while decisions don't change quickly, it is through ongoing efforts - informing, inspiring and connecting - that you can change mindsets and ultimately, perhaps, decisions.
