Today is the International Day for Women and Girls in Science 🧑🔬 Since 2015, UNESCO has designated 11 February to promote equal access to and participation in science for women and girls. This is an opportunity to remember that women's and girls' access to science and technology is still low. But we are on the right track. At EQUANS, one in five management positions is held by women. Each year, we recruit 10,959 new employees, of whom 23% are women. In each of our subsidiaries, women are particularly well represented in the R&D departments. Thank you Spotlight for inviting me to participate in today's Discussion Box highlighting "The Rise of Composability and Digital Experiences". It was a wonderful discussion with other female leaders across various industries. Here are my key takeaways as a marketing leader from today’s discussion. When considering the advantages and disadvantages of composability in the digital experience, these are some key areas to think about.   1.   What are the business cases driving your digital transformation? 2.   Does the technology stack and transformation strategy align to business needs and ultimately OKRs? 3.   How will customer and user experience be impacted or improved? 4.   Do not forget about the importance of internal education, adoption and championing of your technology stack and transformation strategy. 5.   Speed, ease and accuracy of data across integrated systems is key to success. 6.   Flexibility is critical for long term success. Not all platforms will meet all your needs at any given time. To promote women in sciences, we urgently need to shift mindsets: - Address Bias: Recognize and combat unconscious biases and stereotypes that affect women in STEM. - Encourage Early: Start encouraging girls to pursue STEM from a young age through education and mentorship. - Promote Role Models: Highlight the achievements of women scientists to inspire others and challenge stereotypes. - Create Inclusive Environment: Foster a culture where women feel supported, valued, and have equal opportunities for leadership and recognition. - Continuous Improvement: Regularly assess and adjust initiatives to ensure they effectively promote gender equality in STEM fields.
