Joined by many of our Global Directors, we embarked on an exhilarating exploration of the dynamic synergy between Sales, Marketing and Technology, as we usher in a new era of SThree.    In our continued quest to remain customer-centric, we embrace serving our customers through the power of all SThree products, services and functions.    Andrew Beach, our CFO, delved into the "Position Pillar: How we're Perceived in the Market." His discourse shed light on the critical role perception plays in defining our brand and market presence.   Sarah Mason FCIPD, our CPO, took center stage to discuss "the evolution of our people proposition." She elucidated how nurturing our talent and fostering innovation within our workforce is pivotal in our journey.   Jelte Hacquebord, our CCO, together with Nicholas Tsappis and Rakesh Patel gave great insights and directions on "Places & Position: The SThree Way" and our client-centric approach.    Nick Folkes our COO, captivated our audience with his take on "Scaling Markets: Embracing the Winds of Change in the Digital Transformation Era." SThree’s Annual Report for 2023 is out!   Against the backdrop of our consistent global performance, I am extremely proud to highlight the achievements of our Japan business, which has once again demonstrated strong year-on-year revenue growth exceeding 6%, surpassing industry benchmarks (more details on page 26 of the linked report). It underscores the effectiveness of our strategy, our focus on the best STEM markets, and our unwavering commitment to our people.   Our comprehensive support for working parents, robust health and well-being programs, the introduction of Workation and Sabbatical leave, and the launch of our new leadership development program have all contributed to our best ever eNPS score of 62 (outperforming the global average by more than 40%) and one of the highest employee retention rates amongst our offices worldwide and our competitors locally.   Looking ahead, our strategic focus remains resolute. We are committed to becoming the No.1 gaishikei STEM staffing agency in Japan through our dedicated focus on niche markets, as well as attracting, nurturing, and retaining top talent who embody our values and contribute to our vibrant culture. I’m going to let you in on a secret. A while back I was asked to put together a career development training for a Pharma company’s employee engagement fair. The person who asked for it loved the content. But it wasn’t ever used. Why? 🤔 It didn’t get approved because the message wasn’t one the company wanted their employees to hear. I wouldn’t change the content. My loyalty is to you and other women who I want to help elevate in the Pharma/Biotech industry. ▪ I won’t give you lip service. ▪ I won’t secretly try to get you to stay at your company if it isn’t a good fit. ▪ I won’t give you “fake opportunities”. ▪ I won’t tell you just what your leadership wants you to hear. I don’t benefit when you stay stuck. It doesn’t benefit me if you don’t get promoted. It doesn’t benefit me if you stay when you could have a better job. I benefit (and strongly believe the industry and everyone around you benefits too) when you are clear on what you want, get into your best job, and are happy. At Viable, we understand the critical role that employment plays in breaking the cycle of abuse and providing survivors with the tools they need to reclaim their lives.
