Attended the groundbreaking Network State Conference in Amsterdam, hosted by the visionary Balaji S. (fanboy al the way to the left lol). With over 1200 forward-thinkers, we explored the future of parallel establishment, with the idea that if we have already achieved: - New Companies - New Communities - New Currency Now is the time for New Countries? The idea of materializing cloud communities onto the land is mindblowing, but not so far away. In a way, you can consider many private companies already bigger and more influential than some countries. Maybe in the future, we can consider countries more like products. Over 40 projects presented amazing concepts and real-world projects in the realms of parallel societies, parallel media, parallel education and parallel finance w/ Peter van Sabben It's clear that we're on the brink of a new era where communities, institutions, and even nation-states are being reimagined in a decentralized world. Introducing VOID: a New Universe for Gaming, Cinema, and Novel "Your problem is, you never stop talking," Kai said with a smile. VOID, derived from "empty" or "null," is an exciting entertainment universe I'm crafting. It's an epic space-orchestra that serves as a creative escape from my technical writing and a parallel endeavor while I develop my startup. VOID is a narrative meant to be experienced in spatial form. Drawing on technology, philosophy, cosmology, and endearing, young relatable characters, VOID pushes these concepts to their limits. In this universe, humanity has lost its essence, and my characters discover the meaning of love from the future. They fight, fall in love, and ultimately strive to "live." As they uncover their strengths and weaknesses, they define their ethos and pathos. Ethos, embodied in their compassion and emotional depth, and pathos, seen in their strength and resilience. The story begins with "Kai", a young teen boy living in 2050. Spatial computing has become commonplace, travelers connect in most of America with fast-traveling pods. Many coastal cities are underwater, with only a few major cities like Denver remaining. The world is plagued by extreme heat waves, water scarcity, and food shortages. Humanity has been saved from extinction by robots developed by eight different companies, aiding in agriculture, mining, and other tasks, following the Fusion War and the Great RESET.
