Still reeling from a busy and fruitful May for the FEV team! Patrick Elftmann and Anna Trendewicz kicked things off as part of the jury at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) Industry Growth event in Denver. Focus was on commercialization of clean energy solutions ⚡️🚀 Natalie Milde advocated for Internal Carbon Pricing and going beyond offsetting to focusing on a global Net Zero, together with Alexander Farsan from Klarna, and shared the experiences from FEV in a webinar by Milkywire 🌍 Maciej Lehmann attended Latitude59 in Tallinn and was blown away by the incredible startup and VC ecosystem in Estonia. Founders are product-focused, think globally from day one, and are extremely open and collaborative. His highlight was the Sunset Soirée by Creandum, Inventure and Superangel and the Specialist Sunset Cruise. 🌟 Natalie Milde moderated a panel on AI and Optimization in climate tech with Tuomas Oksanen (Grid.vc), Nicolas Milerioux (Encevo ), and Dr. Terhi (TJ) Vapola (Greencode Ventures) and served as jury member at Cleantech Capital Day by Cleantech Scandinavia. For her, the highlight was celebrating the winners of Nordic Cleantech Open, GREEN14 , Re:meat and FLOX Robotics! Jan Lozek and Anna Trendewicz participated in the Free Electrons Program in Madrid. They learned about the biggest challenges and pain points that utilities face first-hand and connected with exceptional founders and great utilities around the globe, like E.ON, CLP, EDP, ESB, JERA Americas, Origin Energy, Hydro Québec.
