Check it out👇 Aupings new mattress uses reusable #polyester instead of foam & normal glue. Perfect for recycling. Two issues: can you see the difference between a bad and a good mattress? And do you still know after 5 (or even 10) years how to recycle it?   I bet Auping has it own solution for the bedroom, where Madaster solves these challenges for (circular) #constructionproducts in the #builtenvironment. An environmental issue that you may be completely unaware of but I have been working on for a long time is the unawareness of most people (65% in the Netherlands) that paint should never be washed down the sink. Paint is a beautiful product to protect materials, but should never enter the water system because that causes an increase in micro plastics in surface water. Recent international studies underline this. Today is a big day, because the Dutch association for paint and ink manufacturers in cooperation with companies like Go!Paint and Hildering Packaging released a complete package of multimedia messages to communicate to DIY painters and decorators that is a very bad idea to wash any paint down the sink. A great step forwards. It is still in Dutch but I hope many countries will follow soon, as this is an international issue. In the coming days I will show you how Go!Paint products succesfully prevent paint being washed down the sink, and how better design can change behaviour.
