Covenant House International, a youth homeless shelter, helped me through a difficult time in my life. When I was 18,  I came to New York looking for a fresh start, but I knew no one, had no job, or any place to stay. I found refuge and support at Covenant House on my first night and they helped get me on my feet while I sorted out life for a couple of months. Since then, I’ve been committed to helping them provide essential services to youth in need. Specifically, over the past five years, Thesis has been able to partner with Covenant House to give back. Our partnerships have included: raising tens of thousands of dollars, providing hands-on support at their facilities, offering employment opportunities to residents of Covenant House, and actively participating in multiple Sleep Outs, standing in solidarity with homeless youth and raising awareness about the challenges they face. I am so grateful for all of the help Covenant House provided me and I am so excited to be taking a larger team from Thesis to this year’s Sleep Out.
