For young people, work experience is crucial. It can set them up for success when it comes to embarking on a career path in the future 🚶 In our latest six-week work experience programme, we’re working with London North Eastern Railway to attract young talent to the rail industry - introducing them to ‘hidden jobs’ in the company along the way. Check out our design question below! 💼 In a questionnaire assigned at the beginning of the Squad, we asked our 13 to 18-year-olds how likely they were to choose a job in rail - and the results are in. 🔢 Out of 10, the average likeliness of our young Sherpees choosing a job in the industry was just 4.9... 🚂 So, over the next six weeks we will expose them to potential opportunities and roles in LNER and the wider rail industry that perhaps they’d never considered… It’s exciting stuff!
