1wDefinitely a polarizing topic. There’s good points to be made on both sides of the coin. For some companies, who are working to build an emotional connection who have a distributed workforce a lot of those leaders don’t feel entirely comfortable with managing performance remotely and are used to in person dynamics. They have a challenging time transitioning to managing employees remotely. Undeniably, some companies demand remote work to attract and retain the right talent, and if they have identified this topic as an issue for growth, there are strategic adjustments that can be made to increase employee engagement while ensure remote workers thrive and are engaged in all areas.
