I had the opportunity to represent Digiweb Solutions at the just ended 3i Africa Summit 2024 at the AICC.
The event mainly focused on how to drive innovation, investment and impact in the Fintech ecosystem.
With the huge fees paid for transactions amongst ourselves here in Africa due to the rerouting of payments abroad, there is an alarming call to create a unified ID system to enhance trade(limit the fees paid & transacting time) amongst ourselves.
The Summit had heads of Central Banks from across the globe to hold discussions on the key steps to take to facilitate cross-border payments.
The use of payment solutions is prominent especially for our developed Ecommerce platforms which is why we had to be there to witness the plan of revolutionising the Fintech ecosystem and how we'd adopt to it in order to provide a better experience for businesses(merchants).
