This verse is a beacon for leaders, guiding them to foster self-motivation, continuous learning, and innovation. Throughout Kurukshetra, Krishna steered Arjuna to victory, demonstrating that true leadership involves empowering others to succeed.
In the world of technology, we find a shining example in Mr. Narayana Murthy. His journey mirrors Krishna's teachings. His passion for computer science ignited his career in the software service industry. Mr. Murthy faced numerous obstacles – bureaucratic hurdles, financial crises, and intense competition. But his unwavering determination and bold decisions propelled Infosys forward. He recognized the potential of offshore software development and expanded Infosys globally.
The story teaches us the importance of self-motivation, learning, and persistence. Lessons like these are not confined to ancient texts, but are a blueprint for contemporary leadership success, aiding us in achieving excellence and empowering others.

One simple test to know if the company’s governance is good or not?
If you face an issue, write to the senior management, if you receive an actionable response within reasonable time (hours), then you should trust that they have a process in place to address the issue.
This morning, I required some Information about a payment made in August 2003 from Infosys. I wrote a senior leader in the organisation and within minutes, I received an actionable response. He took the responsibility to ensure that the case was resolved.
Yes, I know what you might be thinking. :)
If the processes are in place then responding to such requests is easier. He/she perhaps doesn’t need to do anything more but trust the process and it’s effectiveness and efficiency.
Secondly, good governance also means that one doesn’t have to take a top down approach (like I did). In this case, I can guarantee that had I approached anyone who could possibly help me, would have done so.
That is when you know the process is trustworthy. It is one of the strongest pillars of governance.

Watch this video interview with Michele Lemmens, CTO and Head of Business Sustainability, TCS Asia Pacific as she elaborated on our sustainability solutions and more.
In business, how do we move from a reactive mindset of ‘doing less harm’, to a proactive one of ‘doing more good’?
"What we’re seeing still is a lack of integration between still between digital, innovation and business strategy,” says Michele Lemmens, CTO and Head of Business Sustainability, TCS Asia Pacific. “For sustainability those things need to come together to enable net zero goals to be achieved.”

I am writing this to express my sincere gratitude to Professor Anand Pillai for giving me the opportunity to do a case study on leadership development and succession planning of Infosys. This was a valuable learning experience for me, I learned a lot about Infosys's history, business model, and operations.
Apart from this I will like to share some of my key learning towards leadership development and succession planning:
•Effective leadership involves more than just knowledge and abilities; it also involves
mindsets and convictions.
•It is the duty of the promoters to clearly define roles , this is because, if the transition between the roles are abrupt, it is likely to affect the company’s growth and sustainability.
•Leadership style should be a part of the planning before making the big decision, otherwise will become an issue in the later stages.
•Implement a systematic approach for succession planning, which should include the following steps:
Define the roles that need to be filled.
Identify potential successors.
Assess the skills and experience of potential successors.
Develop a plan for grooming potential successors.
Implement the plan.
•Be prepared to make changes to the system Because change management can only bring organisations development.
Will also like to Thank my team members to make this case study successful Sunny PrakashAnkita SinghMadhurima DuttaSoumi BiswasEkta Mukherjee , everytime when I work with new set of people I learn something new about Interpersonal skill , team work , and that surely help me a lot .

#TheStartingSix --> D3 --> "Hardwork"
"Hardwork" works when nothing else does!
As you progress through different roles in an else organisation such as Infosys, you tend to observe the leadership traits and the distinguished working style of different people. I have been fortunate to work with few of the best leaders who identified my strengths and provided me with opportunities to grow with them. I got a chance to work with the opposite kind as well. The ones who identify your weaknesses and highlight those to undermine you. Whatever be the kind of boss you work with, the one thing that can't be overlooked is "Hardwork". Hardwork earns you the respect and admiration like no other skill. I had imbibed this skill quite early in my career. Whichever client I worked with, be it Allied Irish bank or Barclays or Capital group I ensured my productivity numbers were always better than my peers.
Remember, nobody is irreplaceable but hardwork brings you the closest to being one!

Building a high-performance, cohesive team isn't just about hiring the right people 🚀. It's about weaving a tapestry 🧵 of talent, ambition, and mutual respect 🤝.
Picture this: a team where every member's strengths are not just recognised but amplified 🔍. Nandan Nilekani co-founder of Infosys, created an environment where everyone's unique abilities were amplified, which contributed to the company's success.
Transparency isn't just a buzzword; it's the cornerstone 📐. Uday Kotak, CEO of Kotak Mahindra Bank, is known for his transparency, fostering trust and respect among his employees.
Prioritise diversity in thought, background, and expertise 🎓. Indra Nooyi, former CEO of PepsiCo, always championed diversity which led to innovative solutions and a dynamic work environment.
