Redesign or Lift migration from SAP PI to Integration Suite? New platforms have different ways to work. They can enable a much simpler way of working and more efficient way to handle the flow. You should listen to the business goals and explore what can make their way of working easier. That will allow you to redesign some better integrations that have a better way of running and simplify the business cost. However, this requires: - You have some really well skilled consultants or team that can redesign the way you are working with the integration - You want to invest in building a new way of working both money and also time wise for the business consultants - The new way of working adds process effectivity that can simplify your operation If this is not the case, a simple migration may be the way to go. Also, you should mix the two processes (Redesign and Migration) in your project to ensure that you spend the effort on the places that make most sense. Figaf does have the tool that enables you to migrate most of your integrations quickly. That way, you can spend the effort on the things where a redesign makes sense. To learn more, read more about this process here: https://zurl.co/263Y Where are you on this decision? Are you redesigning everything or simply doing a 1-to-1 migration? Alternatively, are you doing some combination of the two? I assume it's some combination of two but tell you if I am incorrect and what your migration situation is looking like. #SAP #sapmigration #sapintegrationsuite

What does it look like when SAP Integration Developers plan the next year? You probably already have a good plan for what types of projects. Otherwise, it is probably a good time to start planning. Where is your SAP PI/PO to Integration Suite? How do you ensure you can support the S/4 HANA and all the other projects running? And do you have a plan for simplifying your integration landscape? AI-generated image. That raises much more questions than it answers. Description: "The image illustrates six SAP integration developers engaged in planning the year ahead in a modern office setting." I'm not sure what roles the other people are. Are they from basis or business units? Who are on remote? And why no socks? And what is with the legs? #SAP #sapintegration

I was talking with an SAP Integration customer yesterday who needed to know the cost of their migration to the Integration suite. The right place to start with is the assessment to understand their different types of integration. They would be using Figafs assessment report (which you also can get for free) It gives you a detailed report on your landscape, including the number of integrations of different types. You can easily add your own rules to it to get more details. But... Knowledge about your landscape will not allow you to estimate the effort of migration accurately. I normally recommend creating a "small" pilot project to start migrating a few different integrations. You will need to select a number of integration patterns. That way, you will get more information about the effort involved in migrating different scenarios. Assessment is also to come up with a method for migrating. #SAP #SAPIntegration
