What a week! Full of new beginnings 🚀, inspiring discussions 💡 and big ideas for a #BoldEurope ⚡️🔋. First of all, I'm excited to announce my new role as VP of Strategy & Innovation at Enery. Our mission? Leading the energy transition to create a greener, more sustainable future. At the European Forum Alpbach, we deep dive into the pressing theme of “Bold Europe". With Europe's historical dependencies, the call to action is clear: we must diversify, champion renewables, and reassert control over our sustainability and security. It was also an honor to see myself featured in today’s print edition of Die Presse. The article outlines the significance of industry partnerships and renewable power purchasing agreements (PPAs) to accelerate the energy transition. An evident nod to Europe's urgency to foster renewable energy systems and robust industry platforms. 📰 Central to the conference was the unyielding focus on Climate Action. In the face of geopolitical instability, biodiversity loss, and the looming climate threat, our path must be paved with transformative solutions and innovations. Suddenly, I’m hopeful for the future. Yesterday, I had the pleasure to meet, learn, support, and get inspired alongside many incredible cleantech companies at Emerson Collective's Building a Consequential Climate Company symposium. Gabe Kleinman and team put on a beautiful and highly tactical event with in-the-weeds discussions about building narratives to create categories, expanding audiences, go-to-market strategies ( 👋 Allyson Letteri), and even ways to navigate the politics of loaded words like “climate” itself. It was not a day of fluff, but full of real conversations with founders building the future. What inspired me most was the entrepreneurial spirit of the companies in attendance, approaching problem-solving and business building from diverse angles. Companies at various stages supporting one another in creating categories from scratch. Just a few of the consequential companies I met: - WeaveGrid: Accelerating electrification by optimizing EV charging for everyone - Verse: Helping companies manage their clean energy portfolios - Twelve: Carbon Transformation  - Noon Energy: Creating compact long-duration energy storage It was my pleasure to offer advice where I could along with my Residence partners-in-climate, BUCK - Surabhi Rathi and Luisa Murray. The upcoming generation may be the “First Sustainable” generation… a great thought looking at glass half full! She cites UK emissions trend in recent years… while also hinting about offshoring manufacturing. Another angle to this is emerging economies are increasingly investing in cleaner energy sources…. So while it may be Energy Transition for developed economies, it would actually be Energy Evolution as these emerging economies grow! Reminded me of #wearepowergeneration trend run couple of years ago by Mitsubishi Power Americas

Awfully lot of time was lost too, but… In 2023-24 we’ve built a new foundation for Geyser that gives us more strength and clarity than ever to fight the good fight for fossil-free future energy system.
