In addition to her strategic analysis work, Caroline cultivates kale, beets, leeks, and peas on her farm. How to pronounce Caroline: /ka.xn--ro-2pb.xn--li-2pb.xn--n-c1a/ Here’s the breakdown: ka - sounds like 'ca' in "car" roː - long 'o' sound, akin to 'ro' in "roar" but stretched liː - long 'ee' sound, like 'lee' in "leek" nə - this is the schwa sound, similar to the 'e' in "elementary" (a very neutral, unstressed 'e') Welcome to Fever de Jong!

I am currently interviewing interesting people in New Zealand about how the smoke free 2025 action plan was developed and why its been slated for repeal. I want to say two things, first, I really like New Zealand people, they are so warm, and nearly everyone I approached has been willing to talk to me. Secondly, qualitative research is way more interesting than I ever gave it credit for in my youth, it feels like a process of discovery as things crop up interview to interview. Ngā mihi nui, to everyone who has had korero (talks) with me about the tobacco control space.
