While I’m still not sure how I feel about the “Godmother of AI” moniker (🤣), I thought this CBS This Morning story by Jo Ling Kent and Kerry Breen nicely captured how imperative it is for people to maintain agency as we develop AI. https://lnkd.in/g5q53A3n

Loved the interview, Professor. Your story is truly inspiring, and I can't wait to dive into your book. The title of 'Godmother of AI' is entirely appropriate. The perspective on placing humanity at the core of AI's use and power is really thought-provoking.
Let's marry godfather and godmother to produce something extraordinary in department of AI . . . I mean I will name it later, for now I am going to bed 🛏️ . Feeling sleepy
I couldn't agree more! The 'Godmother of AI' moniker may be quite the title, but would you rather be known as the 'tiger lady of AI'? 😄 Either way, your work in the field is incredibly inspiring.
She has been an inspiration in my career to work on computer vision AI development
I heard you compare some of the work in AI to the Human Genome Project. I believe you and Dr. Francis Collins who headed that project would have much to talk about. I would love to introduce you to each other if you do not already know him. talk about
What a great interview! As a woman whose family also immigrated to NJ, I was very inspired reading this. It's great to see the advocacy for more diversity in this field and for the ethical use of AI.
The achievement is unparalleled, and the passion is amazing. Again, the remarks, '... there is nothing artificial in Artificial Intelligence' look very interesting given the role of humans... Dr Fei Fei Li's work is marvelous!
