As we work to catalyze the movement to end hunger, it’s vital that neighbors with lived or living experience with food insecurity lead. This month, Feeding America hosted the 2024 Elevating Voices: Power Summit in Washington, D.C., welcoming nearly 50 neighbor-advocates nominated by food banks across the country. Already changemakers in their local communities, these participants fueled their future work through advocacy training sessions, conversations with decision-makers and networking to build connections. #Advocacy #ElevatingVoices #EndHunger

Gardening is my hobby and source of flowers, food, and fascination. I am fascinated by the Victory Garden Initiative accomplishments. Victory Garden Initiative has rallied to: ● Install over 3,500 gardens, ● Launch a 1.5-acre urban farm, ● Plant 26 orchards in low-income neighborhoods, ● Teach adults and children how to grow food, and ● Train 68 community Food Leaders https://victorygardeninitiative.org/
