Every Fay student interacts with a team of inspiring, supportive adults that includes classroom teachers; specialists in music, art, and world languages; and coaches and advisors. Our arts programs are central to inspiring the creative spirit in our students. From kindergarten onward, all students have weekly instruction in music and visual arts. Every student who enters Fay is assigned to the Red Team or the White Team, and throughout the year, the teams compete in challenges of academic, artistic, and athletic skill. A highlight of the year is the spring Color Competition, a field day event that brings together the entire student body. Congratulations to the Red Team for taking the victory this year!

As we approach the end of Rob Gustavson's time as Fay's Head of School we would like to take the time to celebrate his sixteen years of leadership and dedicated service.

We believe that nothing is more important than a child’s first school experience, and the small class size and individualized approach of Fay’s Kindergarten program helps each student to establish a strong foundation for a successful educational journey. Our classroom teachers focus on each child’s literacy, numeracy, science understanding, and social-emotional development, supported by a team of expert specialists who coordinate instruction in art, music, French, Spanish, and P.E.
