I have recently been given an awesome challenge at work... And it made me freaking scared before it made me feel alive again. I watched someone on the team who seems to have totally nailed the solution to how crazy and chaotic the world of work and leadership has become. This girl said to me recently... 'I love the madness, it allows me to me see what I am capable of and how strong I am when I choose to'. One if my most favourite role models on earth is Phil Stutz... Read his book if you want to feel the power you have always had but simply forgotten about. " You have three aspects of reality that nobody gets to avoid. Pain, uncertainty, and constant work. Those are things you’re just gonna have to live with, no matter what. What will make you happy is the process. You have to learn how to love the process of dealing with those three things.” Phil Stutz

Why am I doing this? The voice in my head said many times over. I am doing this because I want to ask the questions which unlock human truths that enable progress. End of doubt. Lead with your why. Who is the Woman you love and celeberate? Everyday... Not just on IWD!??? Here is a girl who came into the world against all odds. She came in with force and passion, trust me it was loud and noticeable. Doctors leaned in and said all sorts. We cried, we feared, we chose not to interfere and trust the process. Today, my daughter is a walking and breathing proof that everything is possible if we choose to let our fears go away and stay focused on what matters. Her lightsaber is her smile. It's powerful and it's unique, it pierces through anyone with force which cannot be forgotten. Her curiosity and optimism is in her eye, that never blinks, but sees through any bull....hit. Her force is in her voice, loud and proud that makes all heads turn when she enters any space. I love my daughter twice. Once for being my daughter And Twice for being a daughter with uniqueness. Unique=power Go girl!
