Interfacing STM32F103xx with IR Remote control. It was required to control three devices with any kind of IR Remote controllers with just push button to make reprogramming for the devices. With each button press it checks if this button is to control any of the three devices or not , if it was one of them it just toggles the specific led.

In my previous post, I shared a DC Motor Driver and promised to create a post on how to measure motor current using a shunt signal. The idea behind this circuit is to use a low-drop resistor to obtain an accurate value for the current. Afterwards, I used one of my favorite op-amps to amplify the shunt signal so that I can feed it to my microcontroller's ADC. Please note that you do not necessarily need an op-amp or any kind of amplification circuit because the motor current might have enough strength.

Propagation delay and Dead time for Three Phase Inverter for Field Oriented Control of PMSM motor. Understanding propagation delay and dead time is very important if you are working on sensor less control of PMSM motor. It will help to analyze the time where you have to sample the current if you are using single or double shunt current sensing. What if propagation delays are different between High and Low side MOSFET switching? Well, deal with mismatches in output timings of PWMs which causes Duty Cycle distortions and also makes reconstructing three phase currents using single shunt current sense difficult. Also if you using an integrated MOSFETs and driver with automatic dead time insertion and also providing an external dead time for GATE signal from MCU, understanding propagation and dead time is the must.
