At European Wax Center, our goal is to spread awareness about different cultures, traditions and identities that reflect the diversity in our Corporate Team. To do this our DE&I Council provides regular learning sessions for our corporate associates to increase awareness and understanding. As part of celebrating Pride Month, our DE&I Council Member, Korrie Bovee, hosted a Pride Experience Panel which featured a group of panelists from our corporate team and franchise group. The goal of the panel session was to help foster an inclusive work environment and build empathy and trust through education and conversation. Some insights shared by our panelist included: - Behaviors that made our panelist feel safe & included in the workplace - What leaders can do to foster a safe environment for their associates - Thoughtful questions are welcomed, we are ALL learning & growing – give grace & be kind!
