I couldn't agree more with this philosophy. Some of the most impactful employees (director level+) never attended college. They came in hungry to learn, and we created an environment where they could grow. While I loved my time at school, I learned so much more working odd jobs, reading books, and buying courses.

Chatted with a SUPER incredible entrepreneur earlier who is working on big things in the LIVE space. We don't offer the services they need but I'm confident someone in my network here does! They run an extremely well-known platform. I can't say the name but you will know it. They need a partner that can help bring Shoppable LIVE, Shortform, and potentially a mobile app to their users - ideally in a white-labeled scenario but not required. They mentioned being able to do 1-to-many and 1 to 1 LIVE. Other features include being able to take UGC content and turn it into shoppable videos automatically. Stop judging the success of your lives, solely based on the GMV created during your live sales. If you want to truly know the value of your lives, check out this post. The value of the LIVE goes WAY beyond the LIVE. Look at this search for blenders. The one in the top spot is LIVE. That factors into the SEO ranking. This helps short term, but it will help your long-term SEO ranking on TikTok Shop too. So going LIVE helps your search results. We see this with ads ALL THE TIME. The ROAS after a live sale might be 1-3X that day. Check it a few days later and it has climbed to a 5-9X. Why? Because people who watched the LIVE go back and buy days, weeks, and even months later. The personal connection built during the live sale helps the move from the consideration phase to the conversion phase. Start taking a holistic view of your LIVE sales. - How many impressions did you have? - How many new followers did you gain? - How many people viewed products and now entered your retargeting funnel? - How did your website traffic increase during the live sale? Investing in LIVE is not a 1 to 1. It has a compounding effect on your overall D2C growth. The sooner you take this perspective, the more successful your campaigns will be. Get them into your email database and nurture these relationships. 2) Send an email to people who have purchased your products asking them to apply to be an affiliate. Sort them by response and again, nurture these relationships. 3) Develop a branded affiliate kit that includes best practices, top-performing videos, scripts, key talking points, live information, and product info. 4) Have a budget for paying creators to post.
