LINA STORES // SHOREDITCH ETCH. have acquired a flagship Shoreditch site for Lina Stores at 180-182 Shoreditch High Street. The impressive building is a 19th century, grade II listed, former banking hall. The 5,625 sq. ft space is split over ground and basement. The ground floor will comprise an 87-cover restaurant, and hugely excitingly the basement will home second iteration of Bar Lina, Lina Stores' aperitivo bar. The design team has taken into account the building’s history by preserving many of the original Victorian features. The timber and mosaic flooring of the banking hall has been restored, and walls left untouched. True to Lina Stores there will be marble top tables and plush banquette seating. Bar Lina, located in the basement, will be accessed via a separate entrance and will sport a large bar and a dark red colour scheme. It will serve aperetivos and classic cocktails with Italian twists. Charlie Catterall at ETCH. is instructed to find further sites for Lina and all other White Rabbit Projects brands. Please contact him to discuss any opportunities – charlie@etchgroup.com. Dominic Tixerant at Bruce Gillingham Pollard acted for the landlord The Office Group.
