Chartered Architect I CS&A Responsible Engineer at Sellafield Ltd | RIBA Membership Committee to the Board | Founder of the GAA | Podcaster | Mentor & Advisor | Fellow of the RSA and RIBA
Another depressing architects tale. What I have noticed if architects go and work for engineering companies (big ones) they have much better policies in place for flexible working and work life balance. I know this as I did this. Thanks to Out of Architecture for this clip!
Are you curious about why architects are increasingly venturing into different career paths? Join us as Out of Architecture advisor, Helen Lummis, shares her fascinating journey from architect to Customer Success Team Lead in AEC Tech. In this insightful conversation with Pratibha Pandit on ‘Career Calling,’ Helen discusses the challenges, successes, and fun experiences that have shaped her career. Special thanks to Pratibha and Career Calling team for this wonderful conversation! 📺 Watch the full video on https://lnkd.in/ge4a4HQ6

Do you have experience working in architecture and you'd like to move to the US, job and all, but you're unsure about how it would go? 🤔 • The architecture industry works differently depending on where you are in the world...It's entirely surprising if you don't do your research beforehand. • Our CEO Pati Garcia connected with Fernanda Azevedo, Project Captain at Relativity Architects, for another valuable interview for Architect-US's Interview Series where they discuss what the differences are between working as an Architect in Brazil and Europe compared to the US! 👀 • Fernanda has worked as an architect in Brazil, Italy, and now in the United States! Tune in to learn what the processes are like in the US compared to the other countries she worked in, and whether she got used to it easily... • Despite Fernanda saying that in North America there are more processes to go through than in Italy or Brazil for a project, she also sustains that it's very organized and straightforward. Check out the interview to learn more! 🤩 • Leave a comment below if you'd like to know more about the architecture processes in the US and we'll make sure to get back to you! 👇👇👇 • 📌 Watch Fernanda Azevedo's full chat and find more young architects inspiring interviews on our YouTube Channel at the link below!!!! • [ Link in the first comment below! ] • #architect_us #usavisa #usajobs #j1visa #interviewseries
