The global IPO market continued to present a dynamic landscape in Q2, with distinct regional trends and a sense of caution shaping the overall outlook. Our latest EY Global IPO Trends reveals a 12% decrease in volume and a 16% drop in proceeds year-to-date, largely influenced by investor caution in the Asia-Pacific region. Despite this, EMEIA has surged to achieve its highest global market share since 2008, bolstered by impressive large European listings and significant IPO volumes from India. Across the pond in the Americas, a broader array of companies are making their market debuts, ranging from nascent technology and health ventures to mature, scalable firms.
