Ernest North’s Post

As somebody selling something that should NOT be on a #blackfriday special (the price of insurance should always be the same!); allow me to share this little reminder: Don’t spend money on Black Friday if it isn’t something you have been deliberately holding off from buying for at least THREE MONTHS. In other words, if you have known for more than 3 months that you need (or really, really really want) that thing, and you know what the fair price is, and you can afford it (i.e. you have saved that money), and now the price is lower, then sure, go ahead, access that great deal! Other than, don’t get tricked into the FOMO culture of participating today! PS but if you do 😜 , make sure you figure out if you need insurance from when you leave the store, or when it starts its delivery journey, or the moment it enters your home. Go listen to Pippa Hudson and Wendy Knowler’s discussion on this, really valuable tips. https://lnkd.in/d7s6FZCw

Good advice Ernest... As somebody who is busy extending their home and HAS to buy a couple of items of furniture, I truly hope that what I am buying end up to be good deals when pricing normalises haha 🤣
