Accommodations are actually cheap. U.S. Department of Labor put out a study recently that explored the true cost of accommodations ( https://lnkd.in/e6XDpmu ). What they found was striking: ➖56% of respondents reported that the accommodations they provided cost nothing–$0! ➖Another 37% reported a one-time cost averaging $300. ➖When comparing this to the average cost of acquiring new hires of $4,700 (according to SHRM), this is small potatoes. Many accommodations are slight adaptations to the workspace and require a little bit of creative thinking.
