8 powerful visuals that will transform the way you think. Credit to Jun Han Chin for the amazing graphics. (Be sure to follow him) These visuals communicate several powerful lessons I wish I knew 20 years ago, including: ↳ Failure is part of success ↳ Your potential is limitless ↳ Focus on progress over perfection 8 lessons to embrace today: 1) The four ingredients to career success ↳ It's not just about what you love doing ↳ Be honest about what you're good at, what can impact the world, and what you can get paid for ↳ Passion + Talent + Impact + Pay = Success 2) "The 10-year Overnight Success Story" ↳ Nobody achieves lasting success overnight. ↳ Consistent effort over a sustained period of time - that's your ticket. 3) "Fall down 7 times, stand up 8." - Japanese proverb ↳ It's not about avoiding the knockdowns. ↳ It's about how quickly you stand back up. 4) Mistakes fuel learning. ↳ Failure is not the opposite of success. ↳ It's how we learn, so that we can "become successful". 5) Everything you want lies on the other side of fear. ↳ Fear signposts the direction of your growth. ↳ And your infinite potential lies just beyond it. 6) "Life is what happens while you're busy making other plans." - John Lennon ↳ Recognize that things rarely go to plan. ↳ And that "your plan" includes embracing this as the norm. 7) Remember the "Power of Yet" ↳ Stay hungry. Stay curious. ↳ You may not know how to do something... "Yet." 8) Become an Imperfectionist ↳ Things will never be just right. ↳ Focus on progress not perfection. Get moving and the path will emerge. Eric Partaker is it possible that focusing too much on imperfection might downplay the importance of striving for excellence? Balancing progress with high standards can ensure we push boundaries and achieve true innovation. It's crucial to integrate both perspectives effectively.
This is a fantastic collection of visuals and lessons! I especially appreciate the point about failure being part of success. It's a great reminder that setbacks are inevitable, but they don't have to define us. The '10-year Overnight Success Story' really resonated with me. Lasting success takes time and consistent effort. The concept of becoming an imperfectionist is also powerful. Focusing on progress over perfection can be incredibly liberating. Thanks for sharing these thought-provoking visuals and messages! It's hard to pick just one, but the overall message of embracing challenges and growth stood out to me
As a buyer at Nordstrom, we were taught (and unfortunately learned the hard way) that you always learn more from a down cycle or slow period. The way the team must come together, analyze business, test & learn, negotiate, identify new opportunity…. The learning is unparalleled when business is good.
All stuff that ambitious teenagers and young adults still need to learn🌺😃🌺

Yes, indeed, Eric Partaker, powerfully captivating visuals and visual art can impact personal growth by processing images much faster than words, evoking emotions accurately and quickly, and shifting mindsets towards growth, creativity, and innovation. They help in understanding and implementing concepts for life changes and lifelong learning. Thanks for your brilliant share, Eric Partaker and Riyas V for sharing the link to this post. 🙌🔗🙌
Eric Partaker Interesting post, but isn't passion sometimes overrated? Often hear stories of people who follow their passion only to hit financial struggles. Not saying love what you do isn't important, but what if you're great at something you're not passionate about? Also, isn't the concept of 'overnight success' kind of subjective? Some people do get lucky breaks. Do you think a balance between realistic goals and dreams can provide a better perspective?
Doing something that improves you by even 0.01% consistently is better than doing nothing at all. Any day!
Ups and downs are part of the journey, embrace the process and learn as much as possible from every situation.
