Passing the Torch: Lufthansa Technik Philippines CEO Turnover Ceremony Attending my first CEO Turnover Ceremony yesterday was an experience filled with mixed emotions—curiosity, pride, excitement, and a sense of nostalgia. The moment when Sir Elmar passed the torch was truly impactful, prompting me to reflect on the past two years under his leadership. It was nostalgic. You could feel the overwhelming emotions of the crowd in the hangar bay when Sir Elmar Lutter delivered his last speech for everyone. Witnessing not only his exceptional leadership and professionalism but also his unwavering support for wellness and sports has been truly inspiring. Sir Elmar's dedication to fostering a healthy and balanced workplace culture is something that set him apart. The Badminton team, including all Sports Club members, have witnessed that firsthand. As a Group Executive Committee, we presented to the whole 9000 employees worldwide in a short « EMG Talk » video followed by an online live Q&A session the strategy we have elaborated together as a team over the last few months.
