The City of Mannington, WV made a splash on Independence Day with the grand opening of their newly renovated swimming pool. The renovations and added splash pad followed several years of effort by city officials and donations from residents and area businesses, including EQT.

"We're not fighting for a pipeline. We were fighting for America," explains CEO Toby Z. Rice about the potential MVP brings to our communities, our country, our planet and our allies.

In 2023, EQT became the first independent, domestic operator to sign the Oil and Gas Decarbonization Charter, included environmental and safety performance measures in our incentive compensation programs and leveraged proprietary digital tools to measure and analyze nearly 400 ESG metrics to position us for opportunities to enhance our performance. Today representatives from Tennessee Valley Authority braved the heat and visited a site to see our operations in full swing.

Our efforts to support the communities in which we operate include local giving, sponsorship and philanthropic initiatives through EQT Corporation and the EQT Foundation. EQT Corporation and the Foundation both focus on making charitable contributions to organizations within the communities near our active operations. In 2023, EQT invested over $56 million in local communities through philanthropic investments and infrastructure improvements, paid $795 million in royalties to local landowners, spent over $106 million with diverse suppliers and awarded bids to diverse businesses in 120 supplier categories, up 6% from 2022.
