🏡 emovis Homecare Visits: Expanding Possibilities in Clinical Research 🌐 Embracing innovation in clinical trials opens doors to a more inclusive and patient-centric approach. Here's why incorporating homecare visits into your study design could be a game-changer: 1️⃣ **Reach Diverse Patient Populations:** - Include seriously ill patients with limited mobility. - Reach those with rare diseases residing far from study centers. - Accommodate young participants, minimizing travel-related burdens. 2️⃣ **Wider Patient Recruitment:** - Overcome geographical barriers and tap into a larger pool of eligible participants. - Ensure that distance doesn't limit the diversity of your study population. 3️⃣ **Enhanced Compliance:** - Long journeys can deter patient participation. - Homecare visits promote higher compliance by eliminating travel constraints. 4️⃣ **Patient-Centric Retention:** - Provide a comprehensive customer service experience. - Improve retention rates by prioritizing patient comfort and convenience. 5️⃣ **Accessible Studies for All:** - Conduct studies for conditions where patients face significant mobility challenges. - Break down barriers to participation for those unable to leave their homes. By leveraging emovis Homecare Visits, we're not just advancing research methodologies but ensuring that every patient, irrespective of their circumstances, can contribute to the progress of medical science. Exciting News!. A new article is available!. Nice experience during my stay in Boston! I am glad to announce the publication of our research "Outcomes from an Early Adopters Home Hospital Accelerator for Acute Care at Home" in the Journal of General Internal Medicine. OBJECTIVE: To demonstrate the feasibility of the Accelerator approach for generating and implementing relevant, high-quality knowledge products in Hospital at Home. DESIGN: Mixed methods evaluation of the Accelerator. Surveys and qualitative interviews of Accelerator participants were conducted. PARTICIPANTS: Eighteen healthcare organizations and 105 individuals participated in the Accelerator. CONCLUSIONS: The Accelerator created high-quality, comprehensive knowledge products that healthcare organizations found useful for safe HH implementation 1 year later. The Accelerator approach can feasibly help healthcare organizations safely bridge the gap between innovation and standard practice. https://lnkd.in/dnHn7gCa.

With more than half of physicians now employed by health systems, it is vital that we position these groups for success. This means improving on core operational aspects, and then positioning them to deliver on continuity of care and clinical outcomes, while realizing better patient and provider experiences. This is the first of series wherein we will share some perspectives on the path forward for system-based medical groups, and the key role they will play in the care we all rely on.

Did you know that stronger physician-peer relationships can lead to better patient care? 💼👩🏾⚕️👨🏼⚕️ In a study published in JAMA Internal Medicine, researchers found that physicians who had overlapping training experiences with specialists saw a significant increase in patient satisfaction scores. 📈 From friendliness to inclusion in decisions, patients reported higher ratings across the board when their primary care providers had co-trained with the specialists they were referred to. What does this mean for healthcare marketers? It means an opportunity to advocate for systemic change in how physicians cultivate relationships with their peers – not just for their own advantage, but for the overall enhancement of patient care. Platforms like Doximity offer a space where physicians can connect socially and professionally, fostering stronger relationships. Harnessing this potential for relationship-building could translate into palpable improvements in patient care quality delivered by physicians and hospitals alike. In 2021, GoodRx reported that more than 80% of counties across the U.S. lack adequate healthcare infrastructure in some shape or form. Large swaths of the U.S. remain healthcare deserts, where access to clinical sites, pharmacies, and hospitals is limited. This contributes to underrepresentation in clinical research. What roles do technology and community outreach play, and what are some current industry efforts to address it? https://lnkd.in/eNgTcE7K By Mackenzie Ward and Jordyn Dinwiddie, MA #clinicaltechnology #clinicaltrials #healthcareaccess

There is first (albeit still limited) evidence that improved patient experience translates into better recruitment and retention rates. In long-term outcomes studies high retention and comprehensive event capturing are essential elements in de-risking R&D investments. The home health service offers an effective solution to counteract trial fatigue especially among elderly patients with worsening medical conditions. More supportive data to come.
