Take a look at one of my recent projects that might give you a gist of what my style is! YOU ARE HERE TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE Start your internship and make that difference. You create to make a difference. You learn design to make a substantial difference. You design substantial products to make a real difference. You help others become someone who helps others make a difference. You empower a creative culture to make an impactful difference. In my journey, I've realized that stacking awards is only a part of a story. I've experienced every step at PHOENIX since starting as an intern in 2006. The real goal today? To use that freedom as a leader to impact lives. Whether through our school initiatives, lectureships at universities, or our PHOENIX academy, I've learned that the value of being a design entrepreneur lies in the difference it can make. At PHOENIX, we are genuinely in love with beginnings and beginners. It's always day one for us. It keeps us young and fresh. That's why interns are genuinely one of our success factors! You keep us young and fresh by challenging us with new perspectives. That is priceless for a permanent renewal and fluidity of our creative culture. Ultimately, it's all about people becoming something they are not today. Counting your successful projects is easy, but what counts is the legacy you leave behind. Design is an impact business. Design is a people's business. It's all about creating opportunities, uplifting people, and being a force for positive renewal. Always together. That's the kind of success that counts and lasts for me. It's about bringing others up with you so they can do it similarly. What matters is the intention and the action- not what has been achieved. Why? Because we are here to make a difference. Today for tomorrow. Ready to rise with us? Apply for our next internship gang, but be aware that only four places exist. ID - Stuttgart https://lnkd.in/edD_MxfP UX/UI Stuttgart: https://lnkd.in/eTBk4v-h Stay hungry and make that difference or sent us Samira Korver, Denise-Catherine Knoll a dm. Hello, my dear connections, I am happy to report that I have come to the end of my 2-month internship at Interrupt Biyomedikal ve Mühendislik A.Ş I did this internship under the title of mobile application research and UI design.During this internship, I had the opportunity to review the academic literature and closely examine a very common neurological disease such as Parkinson's.Later on, I learned the importance of market analysis in any venture project and how to do it. I have observed the investment types, the criteria for getting an investment, the brand language, the good or bad aspects to be researched in a brand. Later on, I learned how to do SWOT and PEST analyzes, which are the most important steps when starting a business, and what to do with attention. When we moved to the design part, after a short training about the FIGMA program, I learned and used the UX design that we need to do to be useful for the user and the UI design that makes the application interesting. I would like to thank Şeyma Yılmaz who mentored me in this internship. I would also like to thank Halil Atak and Ali Altuntaş, who always provided effective answers to our questions.

A small message to all students who are looking for internships. We have been receiving numerous internship requests, and we are not satisfied with their quality of projects and emails we receive. Sharing a very honest review here. #TiredOfReviewing 🤖 Below are few things I find very frustrating while viewing internship applications. 1.Please don't send ChatGPT-generated emails when applying for internships. We are humans, not chatbots, and we don't read AI-generated content. 2.Please use online portfolios and attach links to your work instead of sending us 500MB files. We don’t have too much time to spend on viewing your projects. 3.A minimum of 5 personal design projects is required when you apply at Studiodraft. After 2-3 years of college, we expect to see at least 5 personal projects in your portfolio, in addition to college assignments. 4.Design a portfolio that reflects your personality and graphic style, not some random free stock templates. So next time you are applying for a job or internship please look into these things. It's just work, it's about how well you communicate and present your projects to others. #internship #designintern #designerjob #designjob #designstudio #hiring #jobs #painpoints #tips

This is a great article from Design Week, about Junior Designers. https://lnkd.in/e6u9nag3 I am a massive believer in the importance of nurturing young talent and giving them the stepping stone they need to get a career in this industry. From a personal point of view, watching my son try to get work experience just as COVID hit, followed by lockdown GCSEs was a heartbreaking time. He’s now in his final year of college, but wasn’t offered a work experience placement - colleges are having to focus on getting attendance levels back to pre-COVID levels before being able to steer resources into other areas. Talking to him, his tutors and his fellow classmates was partly what drove me to start creating an internship programme at Creative Spark. I wanted to bridge the gap from leaving college or university and securing a Junior Designer position. We have had interns come into Spark for short periods of time, on an unpaid basis. Although this still offered an opportunity to young designers, it didn’t go far enough. I wanted to ensure we had a programme to follow, with set briefs for designers to work on, as well as giving them the chance to work on live client work, with the rest of our Studio team. Getting experience is vital. This is why I wanted to try and host more than one internship per year.. We will be giving hands-on experience to up to four people per year, in paid placements. So, it really feels like we could be doing our bit to give back and encourage new talent. Who knows, one of the interns could prove to be a world-beating talent that we decide to keep on as a Junior! Juniors can thrive in the right environment! We managed to secure Kate Rabjohns as she finished her degree at Falmouth University in 2022, and we are currently looking to get her to Midweight levels. She will gain so much experience from mentoring the interns (with help from the team) too! It's a win win for Spark! Click here to find out more about the internship programme, and how to apply https://lnkd.in/e4ekmisM
