It provides an interactive platform for the M&A community to reflect and analyze the industry’s dynamic landscape at the beautiful settings of Wannsee lake.   On September 14 Christian von Wistinghausen will give keynote speech based on the ADVANT M&A Deal Point Study and participate in panel discussion around key trends affecting M&A practices across diverse industries. Later Dr Angelika Milger of the Federal Ministry for Economics and Climate Action will join Christian moderating the workshop dedicated to the developments in FDI regulation and the resulting implications on the M&A process.   Also, on September 14 Mario Giambò and Benjamin Knorr will lead the workshop reviewing healthcare regulation in Germany and Italy and discuss its effects on Private Equity investments in healthcare sector. BCGL recently advised Digital Mind AS on the acquisition of 100% of shares in EIP Dynamics, a leading provider of Microsoft Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions in Poland. This acquisition marks a pivotal moment in Digital Mind's growth, propelling them to become a key Microsoft Dynamics 365 provider in Central Europe and the Baltics. The acquisition was supported by equity investment from Livonia Partners.   Huge thanks to the Digital Mind team (Rinalds Sluckis and Aivars Balcuns) for choosing BCGL as their legal advisor on this project. Mergermarket has been changing their thought leadership strategy and sharing some great pieces for free. A few days ago, they shared their analysis for ECM in Q1 2024 vs Q4 2023. Looking at ECM in Southern Europe & LATAM, it is a story of the have and the have-nots. Italy is making a killing as the fastest ECM market globally, 3X! LATAM is down 20%, given the current environment and failed processes I was expecting a lower number. Spain is down 90% which makes it the worst performing market globally. Even worst than Africa. There is a massive pipeline for IPOs/Follow-ons in Southern Europe & LATAM, I am really positive for the rest of the year.
